My name is Andrew Mitchell, the founder of FTS Safety Solutions. Through my new blog, I’m going to tell you some horror stories, give you hints and tips and let you know of legislation happening that you need to be aware of …
I qualified as a PAT Tester in January 2003 and have since worked for numerous police forces, fire services and, of course, businesses large and small. I’ve even worked for the Royal Household – so if I’m good enough for the Queen, then I’m good enough for you!
My team and I always use the latest computerised PAT testing equipment and all appliances are tested in accordance with the Institution of Engineering and Technology code of practices. I am also Executive Director and founding member of the Association of Professional Appliance Testing.
As a company, our PAT testing rates are very competitive and we work across Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire and surrounding counties. We can also offer Emergency Lighting Testing, Fixed Installation Testing, Fire Extinguisher and Alarm Maintenance, Microwave Oven Testing, PAT Testing for Landlords, PAT Testing for Entertainers (my own personal DJ experience helps here!) and Health & Safety Induction and refresher courses.
Reliability is paramount to us and we know how important it is to provide an excellent, friendly professional service to all our clients. If needs be, we go that extra mile to get a job completed. We understand that your business needs minimal disruption therefore we will arrive at a time suitable to you. Out of hours and weekend PAT testing is carried out at no extra cost. After satisfactory completion of testing all appliances are labeled and a detailed asset register and test results are issued which you can refer to anytime you like.
On a quick final note about services – all of our engineers are highly experienced, have been CRB vetted and are qualified to City and Guilds standard 2377, which gives you the peace of mind that a quality job will be carried out.
So that’s enough about me and FTS Safety Solutions for one blog post. Watch out over the coming weeks and months for some posts about horror stories, hints and tips and information on new legislation you need to be aware of.
Do get in touch if you need your office equipment PAT testing … I’d love to help you!
Until next time …
