Music Equipment PAT Testing
We provide a no-nonsense service for entertainers. Our engineers have over 20 years experience in the professional music business, so we understand music equipment, what it is used for, and how it is used. We also provide all the relevant documentation including certificates, and our testing procedures are compliant with national standards.
During the testing of the equipment fuses will be changed to the correct rating and/or damaged mains plugs will be replaced. If more extensive repairs are requ
ired, we will be happy to quote for repair, or give you a breakdown of the fault so you can organise the repair yourself.
Testing normally takes between 2 and 4 hours, depending on the complexity of the equipment. We can organise testing during the day or weekday evenings. If you need your equipment testing for a special event, even at short notice, we will do our level best to help.
The price includes full reports and certificates both printed and electronic which you can use to show or email to agents, managers, venues and insurance companies!
In addition we are now able to supply CO2 Fire Extinguishers which working with the amount of electrical equipment that DJ's and bands use, it makes sense to carry your own with you to functions. It is important that if a fire does break out that you can protect yourself and your equipment, having your own extinguisher gives you the peace of mind of knowing that you are protected. Remember we will supply you with the extinguisher and service it annually for a one off fee at the same time as testing your electrical equipment.
