Portable Appliance Testing for Entertainers We have a specialist department dealing specifically with pat testing for artists, bands and DJs. Throughout the UK, more and more venues are insisting that acts have their equipment tested regularly, and ask to see up-to-date documentation. We provide a no-nonsense service for entertainers. Our engineers have over 20 years experience in the professional music business, so we understand music equipment, what it is used for, and how it is used. We also provide all the relevant documentation including certificates, and our testing procedures are compliant with national standards. During the testing of the equipment fuses will be changed to the correct rating and/or damaged mains plugs will be replaced. If more extensive repairs are required, we will be happy to quote for repair, or give you a breakdown of the fault so you can organise the repair yourself. Testing normally takes between 2 and 4 hours, depending on the complexity of the equipment. We can organise testing during the day or weekday evenings. If you need your equipment testing for a special event, even at short notice, we will do our level best to help. The price includes full reports and printed certificates which you can use to show agents, managers, venues, and insurance companies!
